OBB Series 77 for TS Classic
===========================================
The later Rh 77 series were distinguished by their smooth running, favorable fuel consumption, and high versatility, but above all by their 2' C 1 wheel arrangement. This choice was unique in two respects. Firstly, because this configuration was actually only common for locomotives with a separate tender. These "Pacifics," as they were often called, are found with numerous large railway companies from the steam era. Secondly, this is the only Austrian type to use this wheel arrangement.

From 1938 to 1945, the Austrian railways were part of the Deutsche Reichsbahn (German State Railways), but after World War II the Austrian Federal Republic was reinstated, while the Austrian railways from then on weres managed by the OBB, as we know it today. For various reasons, only 76 units of the series, now renumbered Reihe 77, were incorporated at that point in time. These locomotives remained in service with the OBB until the end of the steam era in the 1970s. Like the 93 series, a relatively large number have been preserved in museums. Among them are the 629.01 in SB livery in running order, as well as two versions of the post-war Rh 77, which are also part of the add-on.
